I had friend text that there was going to be a lunar eclipse and that I should shoot it at 10:15 pm. So I went out to shoot it in my backyard. After an hour I started to think maybe the time she saw was not our local time and got on the web to see. I found the eclipse was going to be at 5:15 am my time which is 10:15 pm GMT or Greenwich Mean Time. I also found that we really would see it very well in the central United States but I shot this Full moon and thought I’d share it with you. The moon was so bright that I shot this photo at an ISO of 200 and a shutter speed of 100/ f-stop 7.1.

I’ve been working with a great group of people at WalMart Inc. the last few years covering their annual shareholder meeting. This year I was asked to shoot a time laps slide show of the stage being set up and yesterday with the first concert I finished the shoot. They posted the the slide show this morning. Weeds that have a great gimmick with their seeds.  As I watch my mom’s dog run through what became a white field of them as he sent the seeds flying I decided I wanted to do what is an common photo but still thought might make for a fun art print for my house. This is the image I can up with.

As I was driving home today from work I had to take a double take at this runner on the side of the road. There is a boxing gym near my office that we have done a story on and we often see guys running up and down the side of the road in the afternoons. This evening I saw this. You don’t often see a guy dragging a tire. In all he must have ran about two miles.

It’s been a long time since I’ve shot fashion and these models where a lot of fun to work with. After the shoot I find out one of the models was Miss Arkansas USA, Adrielle Churchill, a law student at the University of Arkansas.
